HI, I was trying to read an article that were in my course reserves and the response was " This item is currently available at the Main Library Reserve Desk" Does this mean I cannot read it online? I tried searching for the article on my own in the data base and it wasn't found. Thanks so much!

Answer

If the article is a chapter in a book, that book is probably only available in print at the library. We don't scan chapters of books in the library's collection because of copyright restrictions. If you need to use one of the books in the library's Reserve collection, just write down the call number (it should be listed in E-Reserves) and give it to the staff at the library's Information Services Desk. You can check the book out for two-hour use in the library. Photocopiers and scanners are available if you need to copy a chapter.
