How do I place a book on hold until I can get to the library to check it out?

Answer

The system does not allow you to place a hold on a book from our circulating collection (Stacks) that is currently available on the shelf.  You can only request a book that:

  1. is currenly checked out to another borrower OR
  2. is available at another UM System campus (and you'd like it to be sent to HS/HSL for you to check out).
