how long do i have eduroam access after i graduate

Answer

According to the campus IT Help Desk, UMB graduates have access to the Eduroam wireless network until the start of the following semester. If you are not registered at the start of the semester, you will no longer have access to Eduroam.

However, you will still be able to use the campus's guest wireless network.  You can connect to the UMB Guest wifi network by following these steps:

  • From the list of available networks, select the wireless network UMB Guest
  • On the Sign On page that appears, choose Create an account.
  • Enter your email address and click Register. (The system will assign you a password, and your email address will be your user name for connecting to the network.)
  • Click Sign On to connect to the network.

Your login credentials will be good for 1 day (24 hours). After that time, you will need to create a new account to access the guest network.

The system will email you the password it assigns you. If you disconnect from the UMB guest network and wish to reconnect within 24 hours of creating a new account, you can retrieve the password from your email.
