ORD/OTT has two consultants who have affiliate ID's. Can they access the online journals for research purposes?
UM Affiliates have access to library resources on-site only. Any affiliates needing to use library resources will need to visit the library in person or use a hospital computer that is connected to the library via the VPN.
Who can my administrator talk to about getting access for affiliate hospitals? The last two times I have made the trip there have been frustrating.

Only University of Maryland, Baltimore faculty, staff, currently enrolled students (except those in the School of Law*) and University of Maryland Medical Center residents and staff are allowed off-campus access to e-resources. E-resources include: e-journals, e-books, databases and e-reserves.
UMMC residents and staff must register as a Library user to have offsite access to Library resources. Visit the Library's Circulation Desk with your UM One card or UMMC ID to register.
*UM faculty, staff and students in the School of Law have access to e-resources through the Thurgood Marshall Law Library.
If you'd like more information or if you have any specific questions, you can call the library's Circulation Desk at 410-706-7995.
